Bhalukpong, 56 kilometers far from Tezpur within Assam, is the entry point of Arunachal Pradesh. It is renowned for its archaeological ruins of King Bhaluka, an old ruler of the region.


Dirang, 42 km from Bomdila, is a small town on River Kameng, and it serves as the gateway to the city of Tawang. It is famous for its Hot water springs, National Yak Research and Breeding Centre at Nigmadung, Apple and Kiwi orchards, sheep Breeding Farm, and Sangti Valley, where Siberian black-necked storks visit during winters.


Tawang is historically and naturally endowed, located at a distance of 185 km from Bomdila and an altitude of 3025 m above sea level. The natural beauty and solitude of the Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi ranges, Tawang Chu River, and Tawang valley are mesmerizing.
